Meet the Team

Nick spent most of his life dairy farming in Frederick until Albaugh and Sons was created. He has 2 sons and a daughter, as well as 8 grandchildren.

He meets with most of our clients and gathers information about the project to provide fair, accurate proposals for all of our jobs—from fence installation to interior painting to bush hogging.

A skilled carpenter and expert contractor with more than 15 years of experience, Nick III holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University in business and finance as well as an associate’s degree in business from Frederick Community College. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three children. In the evenings they can often be seen playing with their chickens.

Nick heads up our deck and fence division, and assists with all facets of the business including meeting with potential clients for free, at-home estimates.

Brooks has 15 years of experience in the carpentry business and specializes in the cosmetic side of our work. He’s a master at trim work, tile work, siding, drywall, and painting. He resides in Frederick with his wife, daughter and step-daughter and enjoys making music on his drums.

When you’re looking to remodel your space, Brooks will breathe life into it. From the planning phase to the final product he will be part of making your new space a reality.

Coming up on 7 years with us, Smitty has been involved with and has learned the necessary skills for all of the different trades we offer. He specializes in interior trim carpentry with great customer service! Growing up in Frederick, he played baseball for Frederick High and learned to build custom furniture from his father.

Smitty is a charismatic leader whose positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great energy resonates with his crew and the homeowners. Working as a Project Manager he is responsible for meeting with homeowners to discuss project details, see the project through, and ensure that our services meet and exceed your expectations.

Danny brings over 30 years of experience in the home improvement business and is currently focusing on our deck division. Residing just outside of Hagerstown, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his 3 grandchildren.

He believes that quality work and customer satisfaction are the most important aspects of any project. Danny’s knowledge, experience, and reliability are a tremendous asset to our team.

Brian Murray joined us full time in September 2019. As a Project Manager, he leads our electrical division. He’s a Licensed Master Electrician and has been in the electrical field for 15 years. Brian can assist you with anything from everyday electrical—hot tubs and spas, recessed lighting, outlets and switches—to rewiring an entire house.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing music and spending time with his wife and son. He—along with his wife and Brooks—writes, plays, and records the Albaugh & Sons commercials on the local radio stations!

A fencing veteran of over 20 years, George has been with us for a little over 3 years. As our lead fence project manager, he takes great pride in his work and customer satisfaction is very important to him. He operates and manages our entire fence division. Once your job is signed, he will meet with you and review the entire scope of work.

In his spare time, George can be seen cooking in the kitchen or watching TV—usually soccer and football.

Austin joined our team in February 2020, and he’s been in the remodeling business for 16 years. Whether you need a large scale addition or a fine detail job of trim and tile, Austin’s your man.

When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, snowboarding, and playing sports with his daughter.

Joann joined our team in August of 2018. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Roanoke College and an M.Ed. in counseling from Millersville University. She worked for several years as a school guidance counselor. Joann works primarily for our painting/remodeling division. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, she and her husband now reside in Mount Airy, Maryland. They are the parents of two grown daughters.

Jake has been with the Albaugh & Sons team for over 3 years. Beginning his journey here as a laborer, he quickly worked his way up to supervisor position and is now in the sales division. From working his way up through the company, Jake understands and takes pride in the complete job process. He loves working for Albaugh & Sons because of the family atmosphere at the company. Jake enjoys playing slow-pitch softball and spending time with friends and family.

An industry veteran of over 15 years, Tiffany has been with our team since May 2021 as our Office Manager. She helps communicate with our clients throughout the job process and makes sure everyone is well informed. Tiffany was born in Gettysburg PA and resides locally in Frederick county. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends; as well as shooting and hunting and taking trips to the beach.

Emily has been with our team since March of 2023. She has worked in the customer service industry for over 16 years. Emily helps our clients with scheduling appointments and answering any questions our clients may have throughout the job process. She was born and raised in Frederick County, and currently lives in Woodsboro with her husband and three daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going antiquing, and canning vegetables from her garden.

With over a decade in the deck and fence industry, Jason is a seasoned pro at transforming outdoor spaces. Known for his ability to connect with homeowners and deliver customized solutions, he expertly guides clients through design, materials, and budgeting, ensuring a seamless project from start to finish.

His deep industry knowledge, sharp market awareness, and eye for innovation allow him to provide insights that consistently exceed expectations. With a proactive approach and keen attention to detail, Jason makes every customer experience smooth and stress-free.

A true outdoor enthusiast, Jason spends his free time camping with family, coaching sports, leading a Cub Scout group, or grilling in his own backyard oasis with his wife and kids.
